Digital inclusion and protection against fraud
The digital divide isn't closed with more technology. It's closed with someone by your side.
We bring in-person workshops, human support and our own materials to older people. In your company's spaces or in your town's.
A programme by Fundación Gesmed, Gesmed and Imedes · partners in the European Mobile Money project (Erasmus+)
Two paths, one programme
Tell us who you are and we'll show you yours.
Your older customers are your best customers. Look after them and they stay.
Banking, energy, retail, transport: workshops in your spaces, an impact report for your sustainability statement and the seal that proves it.

Workshops in your community centres and libraries, guide volunteers trained so the programme stays, and measured results for your older residents.

Three parts that work together.
Face-to-face workshops
A cycle of eight in-person workshops, in small groups, with educators from Fundación Gesmed. From the first WhatsApp to spotting a fraud.
A method built on European know-how
Our experience was forged as partners in the European Mobile Money project (Erasmus+), alongside organisations from five countries. We apply it with our own materials, made to measure for each business or town.
Measurement and seal
A before-and-after survey, an impact report with an SDG framework and the Fundación Gesmed seal: a third-party endorsement that isn't bought, but earned.
The problem, with sources
It isn't a problem of age.
It's a system designed without them in mind.
The programme, in 33 seconds
These hands have done everything.
Video with subtitles. A piece introducing the pilot workshop.
“They kneaded, they farmed, they raised families. But no one taught them this. Until now.”
The recognition
A seal that isn't bought.
It's earned.
“Older-People-Friendly Business” and “Older-People-Friendly Institution”: the endorsement of a specialist foundation, after delivering the programme and measuring its results.
- It's awarded by Fundación Gesmed, never by the organisation itself.
- It requires completing the workshop cycle and reaching verified results.
- It's valid for a year: renewed by keeping the commitment.
- It always travels with an impact report, not just an intention.
Friendly organisations
This space is waiting for a name.
The programme has just been born: this is where the first older-people-friendly businesses and institutions will appear, with their seal and their story. Yours?
The European backing
Partners in a European project.
Fundación Gesmed is a partner in Mobile Money (Erasmus+), the European project that has researched how to bring banking and digital shopping closer to older people, together with five other organisations from five countries. Its findings were presented in October 2025 at the headquarters of the Confederación Empresarial de la Comunitat Valenciana.
That shared learning is the basis of the Conecta Mayores method. The project has its own materials, which we don't sell: here we apply the knowledge gained, with the programme's own workshops and materials.
Project co-funded by the European Union (Erasmus+)
